All weddings have their moments......... a time for laughter, tears, smiles and frowns...... and then there is a time for family. You knew this wedding was just that time...... with so much family in attendance and enjoying one anothers company you knew they were a tight knit group! It was great to witness and even better to capture!
Paletta..... was gorgeous as always with it's attention to the smallest details in its timeless structure and grounds. From the carefully manicured lawns right down to the vintage door knobs...... yes I said door knobs... I love door knobs! You couldn't possibly have more inspiration when shooting here........
   A big shout out to Simply Sophisticated Events Cristina & Jennifer take not only the worry out of your day, but they pay close attention to the finest details, and they truly care for their clients. It is always a pleasure to work with these ladies..... and fun too!!!! Thanks ladies for your ever so fabulous work!

........ meet The Q family!

Family sessions are in abundance this year.... of course this is the fav season of everyone......  Fall is always in demand!

As I book and shoot these sessions...... I constantly think to myself how nice it is not only to shoot them but to be a part of these moments. And how much I would love to have this for myself........ but alas I think I am the culprit of anyone...... I've never made the time to do it!

So I urge those who haven't to have them done........ find a photographer you love and just do it!

........................yesterday I had the opportunity to head out with the Q family........ a great, fun bunch that I also personally know........ we spend the greater part of our year together at the rink!!!! There were much laughs......... and talks of ice cream.......... you know when you have more than one child... bribery is always involved! The boys were sweet, patient and very inquisitive. A ladybug kept their interest for the better part of our session..... which made for some great candid moments!

It was a great evening outdoors....... and the photos are some of my fav's to date!!!

Thanks boys......... for the big smiles and let's keep the "cat story" to ourselves! lol

Because sometimes it just comes around.............

yes I am taking a step on the sappy side....... because sometimes you need to!!!!!! lol

........ so as a wedding photographer we see it all .... the mishaps, the tears, the laughter and of course the love. Now most weddings have minor or major mishaps.... and as someone that is a part of the full experience we tend to jump in and try to either make the best of it or fix it! Not because we have to..... but we want to! So I have been there.............. for the crying bride over family driving her nuts, to dresses ripping and broken shoes!  Yes it does happen..... and well you might say  what can ya do................... we make the most out of a stressful situation with laughter and problem solving. I may not be the best ..... I may not be the worst........ but if I am anything to those that will have me...... I am a friend!

So where exactly am I going with this blog....... let me tell you............. sometimes a wedding will come around and nothing will happen...... smooth sailing as they say! This was one of those weddings........ where everything just flowed!

Big congratulations to Chloe & Jordon on their almost 2 week marriage!!!

......... can I tell you this was the first wedding this year where they did their photos before the ceremony.............. I've been waiting for one of these.... I love the look on their faces when they first see each other without the long walk down the aisle!  

Their day was breathtaking with beauty and grace.........  and no need to take my word for it.... see it for yourself..... they Love with all they have!
